What does Community Care Closet (CCC) offer?
The CCC provides DBNC clients with safe, dignified access to non-perishable food and hygiene products. It’s our way of lending a helping hand to our community. The CCC is short-term support for times of high need, and clients can order twice per calendar year so we can help as many neighbours as possible. Our goal is to strengthen our community and prevent food insecurity in the neighbourhoods we serve.
Why Community Care Closet (CCC)?
The CCC was created with care for the DBNC community. Many individuals and families experience job loss, reduced income, or unexpected financial setbacks, which can make it hard to afford essential bills and groceries. We see you, we hear you, and we want to help however we can. Thank you to our community members and our partners at the Mississauga Food Bank for helping us keep our shelves stocked!
How Community Care Closet (CCC) works?
CONTACT US:
DBNC clients can complete an order form twice per calendar year through their DBNC staff member.
ORDER:
Orders are packed during the first week of each month and are ready for pickup the second week.
PICK-UP:
Pick up your order within the time frame provided to you by email.

We are not accepting clothing donations at this time.
Support Community Care Closet
While we are grateful for any donations received, we ask that no fresh food or fresh produce be left in the pantry, as well as any expired foods.
