Together, we work collaboratively to create welcoming spaces, inclusive programs, and meaningful opportunities for newcomers to Canada.
DBNC’s leadership team brings a wealth of experience, vision, and community insight—ensuring that every initiative reflects the needs and voices of the people we serve. Our Board provides strong governance and strategic direction, while our managers and frontline staff work tirelessly to deliver high-quality services rooted in respect, equity, and cultural understanding. Guided by a shared commitment to strengthening communities, we remain focused on building connections, fostering belonging, and supporting newcomers at every stage of their settlement journey.
We are more than an organization—we are a community of people dedicated to making a lasting, positive impact.
Staff, volunteers, and neighbours work together to identify and discuss issues and concerns, develop and provide services and programs to meet the needs of the community, and promote community participation. Board meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month and are open to the community.

Our Policy On Accessible Client Service
This policy establishes that goods and services provided by DBNC shall be provided to all community members, including with disabilities, according to the following principles.
Multi Year Accessibility Plan
This plan was developed to comply with requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (2005). It will be submitted to the Province of Ontario in accordance with the reporting requirements of the AODA. This accessibility plan outlines the policies and actions that DBNC will put in place to improve full access to and participation in all aspects of the Centre for people with disabilities.
